Gerald Cox, 'Malmesbury', watercolour and ink on paper.  Gerald Cox taught art at Cirencester School, and depicted the countryside, towns and villages of the Cotswolds in an unconventional way.  In this image of Malmesbury, he has chosen a view showing the backs and gardens of some of the town's C17 and C18 buildings.
