Paul Barron (1917-1983) a slipware bowl, late 1940s.

Provenance: Katharine Pleydell-Bouverie, Paul Rice, The Warner Collection. 

Paul Barron studied at Brighton College of Art and at the Royal College of Art under Helen Pincombe. He worked at the Oast Potter, Farnham, Surrey from 1954. and taught at West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham. 

His work is represented in many public and private collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum and Manchester City Art Gallery.
